Allardyce wants to see the former Monaco midfielder in action ahead of a potential contract offer, with a private game set up to give him a better guide about his talent.[LNB]Meriem was at Rovers last month but picked up a knee injury and will have recovered in time to give him the chance to impress Allardyce.[LNB]The Blackburn boss is likely to lose on-loan Di Santo at the end of the year with the Argentinian due to return to parent club Chelsea unless Allardyce can agree an extension.[LNB]Rovers want to bring in a handful of new faces to add to their group, with a couple likely to leave in a hectic window, and free transfer Meriem may fit neatly into his place.[LNB]Meriem has been offered a deal with Sochaux but is holding out for a shot at the Premier League - with bargain-hunting Allardyce set to give him an answer in the next few days.[LNB][LNB]
