Big Sam Has Had Talks With Boyd - Newspaper Reports
Sam Allardyce has held talks with Rangers goal machine Kris Boyd according to the super soaraway Sun newspaper. The 26 year old hitman has been trying to get into English football and there is no lack of interest from Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Birmingham. But while the other clubs are just being linked, the Sun says that Allardyce has already stepped in and made his case for Rovers to the striker who is available as from today as a free agent. Boyd hit 26 goals for Rangers last season.
