Blackburn scouts were in Egypt again last night to check on Ahmed Al-Muhammadi. The 21-year-old from ENNPI can play right-back or right midfield and is referred to as the 'Ronaldo of the Middle East'. He has over 20 caps already for Egypt and has come under scrutiny from Hertha Berlin and Rapid Bucharest. Rovers also maintain a strong interest in Al-Muhammadi's international teammate Mahmoud Abdel Razek, known as Shikabala.
