Winger Chris Brunt has urged his West Bromwich Albion employers to sign up on-loan midfielder Steven Reid on a free transfer in the summer.[LNB] Since his arrival on an initial one-month loan in March, Reid has been an almost ever present in the team.[LNB]Albion have lost only one of the seven games Reid has played in, that came in a 3-1 loss on his debut at Queens Park Rangers.[LNB]It is his experience of playing at a higher level that Brunt sees as being of great benefit to the Baggies as they gear up for their assault on the Premier League.[LNB]The Northern Ireland star told the club's official website: "Reid can definitely help us in the Premier League.[LNB]"I know he's had bad injury problems over the last few seasons but he has got Premier League experience and he has given us that calmness in situations when a younger player might have lost it. Players like that are definitely the sort we need in the Premier League."
