Appleton Looking For Three or For New Faces

Blackburn manager Michael Appleton says that he will be working away to bring changes to the squad in what is left of the transfer window. There will be a meeting between the new boss and Venkys very soon and talk will be about transfer targets that he has in mind and also the way that the scouting is done by the club.

"Our recruitment policy needs improving 10-fold. We have too many players here who are far too similar to each other," Appleton told Sky Sports.

"We need to change things here and get some fresh people in."

The new boss will be looking to get the go ahead to bring in three or four new players, although that will mean that some will have to leave the club.
