Allardyce welcomes Dunn return

lackburn manager Sam Allardyce is hoping returning midfielder David Dunn can provide the spark to help kick-start Rovers' season.[LNB] The influential midfielder has been restricted to just 43 minutes of football this term after struggling with a series of niggling knocks.[LNB]He is, however, back in the frame for Monday's home date with Sunderland and will be expected to provide creativity in the middle of the park.[LNB]Allardyce believes the one-cap England international is capable of inspiring Rovers to bigger and better things, having shone for the club in 2009/10.[LNB]He certainly hopes that Dunn can make a major impression upon his return to the side, as Blackburn are currently languishing just two points above the drop zone.[LNB]Allardyce said: "We know how important he is to the team, certainly last season. He was our best creator and our best goalscorer.[LNB]"Now we're hoping he can put together a run of games.[LNB]"For us all, he's one of our most talented players, one of our biggest creators in the final third.[LNB]"He's been missed. If we'd had him in more of the games, we might have picked up more points and be in the top half."
