Allardyce ready for 'big finish'

Rovers are currently 11 points clear of the relegation zone, and will feel their Premier League status is secure for another season, but they remain keen to finish with a flourish.[LNB]A top-half standing is not out of the question, but consistency needs to be established in order to break into the top 10.[LNB]They face Birmingham, Burnley and Portsmouth in their next three games and Allardyce feels his side should be looking to take maximum points from a winnable run.[LNB]"They are the biggest three games in the last eight that we have got left," he told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"I don't think Arsenal and Manchester United at home are the big ones, I think these are the big ones for us. [LNB]"We want to continue our own form against Birmingham (on Wednesday), who have been a fantastically consistent side this season and done exceptionally well, but our home form is good, in our last five we have won four and drawn one, so if we play anything like that we would hope that would bring us another victory at home. [LNB]"We hope then that is the catalyst for us to turn the away results around. We have got two of the bottom three clubs one after the other away from home - Burnley, our local rivals, and then Portsmouth. [LNB]"If we are going to turn it around and make it the great season we hoped for, these next three games will tell us whether we are or we aren't."[LNB]Allardyce admits Blackburn's troubles on the road this season have left them looking over their shoulder, but believes the problems have been of their own making.[LNB]"We have certainly performed well away from home, even in the last two away games, but we have fallen foul of individual mistakes defensively," he said.[LNB]"We have also fallen foul of the fact that we have failed to score goals when good chances have appeared. That has been one of the reasons why we have been so poor away from home in terms of results this season. [LNB]"But these next three games, starting with Birmingham on Wednesday, are the big three for us in terms of what the season is going to look like at the end of it."[LNB][LNB] Blackburn v Birmingham.
