lackburn boss Sam Allardyce was delighted with his side's first away win since he took charge as they beat Hull City 2-1 at the KC Stadium. The win breathed new life into Rovers' fight for Premier League survival as it moved them out of the drop zone on goal difference. The visitors scored two goals in four minutes towards the end of the first half with Stephen Warnock at the heart of both before Hull City skipper Ian Ashbee gave the hosts hope 11 minutes from time. The 27-year-old Warnock opened the scoring thanks to a mistake by Tigers goalkeeper Matt Duke and then set up the second when his run and cross found Keith Andrews. "You are always under a lot of pressure because of the spirit of the team and the fans are always behind them here," Allardyce told Sky Sports. "They got the goal and it was a nerve jangling finish but we saw it out really well. We scored two really good goals it's a very, very good day for us today. Back in the pack"It takes us back into the pack and now we have the first away victory under our belt since I have been here." The game was not without incident as both sides finished the match with 10 men with Hull City midfielder Dean Marney and then Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen receiving their marching orders. "Our problem was the evening up of the sending off which was harsh that put pressure on us," Allardyce added. "I don't think it was fair. The first one wasn't a booking even the second one he tried to make an attempt to get the ball but it hasn't cost us anything." Allardyce also had to deal with losing his goalkeeper Paul Robinson at half-time after Tigers defender Michael Turner caught him late as both slid in. "We have sent Paul Robinson off to the hospital to make sure he is OK," he revealed. "We are not quite sure what's up with him so it's a precaution, it's not a serious one. He wasn't feeling well before the game but he wanted to play."
