Allardyce committed to Rovers

Rovers have improved steadily since Allardyce took charge at Ewood Park in December but they are still involved in a relegation battle. There are just four games of the Premier League campaign remaining and Blackburn have a six-point cushion over the bottom three. Allardyce is confident of keeping the club in the top flight but he maintains he would be prepared to drop into the Championship if relegation cannot be avoided. He is tied to Rovers on a three-year deal and has every intention of honouring the agreement. "Whatever happens, I'm going to be here next season," Allardyce said in the Daily Telegraph. "The contract is signed and I'm not after a new one. I won't be leaving."
