Chelsea rookie Franco di Santo has given an amusing insight into reclusive Stamford Bridge owner Roman Abramovich's character.
Argentine striker Di Santo describes the Russian billionaire as humble, yet recalls a story that has passed into mythology about Abramovich choosing to buy Chelsea after eyeing the stadium from his helicopter.
'That is what they say,' joked Di Santo. 'He also wanted to buy other things, but they belonged to the Queen.'
Abramovich has remained an enigma since investing in the west London club six years ago, regularly turning down all requests for interviews.
