Wigan reject Birmingham's 8m swoop for winger Charles N'Zogbia

Wigan Athletic have rejected Birmingham's £8million bid for Charles N'Zogbia. Sportsmail revealed on Monday that Birmingham had made a move for the French winger but it has fallen well short of Wigan's £15m valuation. N'Zogbia's agent Franck Peslerbe said: 'Birmingham have made a bid for Charles and Wigan have turned it down. Birmingham bid: but Wigan have turned down their £8million approach for N'Zogbia 'There are also some other English sides apart from Birminghaminterested in Charles. Charles is currently away on holidays but I amin discussions with Wigan. 'Everything depends on Wigan and if they accept a bid then thingscan go forward. If it was a good solution for Wigan and a good projectfor Charles then something might happen. Wigan have a figure theyexpect for Charles and we will see if anyone meets that.' N'Zogbia scored seven goals, including the winner against Arsenal,in an impressive season for Wigan. He moved to the DW Stadium inJanuary 2009 from Newcastle for £6m.  No Wigan return for 'astronomically' expensive Hull midfielder BullardThe good, the bad and the ugly - my review of the seasonWIGAN ATHLETIC FC
