Upson praises Blues duo

Injured Birmingham City stopper Matthew Upson has praised summer signings Radhi Jaidi and Bruno N'Gotty for settling in well at St Andrew's.

Upson, who is currently sidelined by an Achilles problem, has been impressed by the former Bolton Wanderers duo who have helped the Blues concede just four goals in five league games.

Upson told the Birmingham Mail: "They've got good credentials.

"They've come to us out of a club that, defensively, was pretty sound for the last two or three years.

"And they have played together before, which is always a bonus.

"When you saw it happen, you thought straight away that they would be good acquisitions, which they will prove to be."
