Ridgewell moves to the Baggies

Liam Ridgewell has made a transfer deadline day departure to join midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion.

The 27-year-old versatile defender has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Baggies for an undisclosed fee.

Ridgewell joined Blues from Aston Villa in August 2007 and went on to make 174 appearances scoring 11 times during his time at St Andrews.
