Quincy hopes for Blues deal

On-loan forward Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is hoping to win a permanent contract at Birmingham City.

The 22-year-old Ghana international is on loan at the Championship club from Spartak Moscow and is hoping to seal a full-time switch after scoring three times in 11 appearances so far this season.

"I would love it to happen, of course. I would love to sign," he told the Birmingham Mail.

"Birmingham have given me the opportunity to come on loan and prove myself, which is what I'm trying to do.

"There's a permanent deal at the end of it, so every time I'm going out there I know I've got to do well and deliver."
