Birmingham City have confirmed that loan striker Andrew Cole will miss the Championship clash against Burnley with the hamstring injury he sustained in training.
The veteran forward has had a scan on the injury which has shown he sustained only a small tear and he could be fit enough to feature in the Easter Monday encounter with Barnsley.
Blues boss Steve Bruce has blamed himself for Cole's injury, saying: "I've got to look at myself really.
"The one thing we do in training at this club is work hard, perhaps too hard on this occasion, and maybe I've asked too much of him at his age."
