McLeish to open player talks

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is set to open talks with several players who are coming to the end of their St Andrew's contracts.
Sebastian Larsson and Liam Ridgewell are among the players McLeish hopes will sign new deals.
The former Rangers and Scotland boss said: "Right now, there are impending talks with some players' representatives.
"Michael Dunford (chief executive) and I will get down to that in the coming weeks when we can have a good look at things and see which are our priorities in terms of urgency and player contracts about to expire.
"We're pretty much covered because we've got contract options on all the players so that covers us if we can't come to agreements.
"In all likelihood, we'd take up all the options although I'm loathe to mention names in the media just now."
