Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish says he will not be distracted by continuing uncertainty surrounding a takeover of the St Andrew's club.
Carson Yeung is poised take control of the Blues, but McLeish is not getting too concerned about off-field events at the club.
He said: "I'd love to build a Birmingham team that was a Premier League team and we could stay in the Premier League then build on it.
"It is some challenge and it is not an overnight job. We did a bit of fire-fighting last season in the first six months.
"The pressure to get up (from the Championship) was immense on us, more than anyone else in the division, but we stood up to that and it is only going to make us stronger.
"You can't control it (the future). I've always been philosophical about that. What happens, happens. I don't lose any sleep.
"What I've got to do is my day-to-day job the way I've always done it, that is 100 per cent."
