McLeish positive over plans

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has revealed he has held positive talks with several foreign-based transfer targets.
The Blues chief has admitted he has been forced to readdress his plans for the summer following the club's relegation to the Championship, but is confident of luring players of the right quality to St Andrew's.
McLeish has already landed veteran midfielder Lee Carsley on a free transfer from Everton since the Premier League season drew to a close.
"We have had to reassess one or two things. Players that would take us to another level in the Premier League now don't want to come," he told the club's official website.
"But we have had some positive feedback from players who want to come to England.
"Some of them would come with a view to getting into England and then getting into the Premier League, so there are still one or two irons in the fire from that point of view."
