Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish has hinted that there could be even more new arrivals at St Andrew's before the new season starts in less than three weeks' time.
McLeish has already signed eight players since the end of last term and reports suggest that figure could be augmented by the arrivals of Aston Villa's Craig Gardner and a midfielder from Spain, as well as a possible loan move for Arsenal's Armand Traore.
The former Rangers and Scotland boss said: "Don't get me wrong, I think the board have done really well in allowing us to get the players who have come in and spending money.
"Of course, I'm like any other manager in that I'll take more players if I can get them.
"I still think that we're a little bit weak in one or two positions and a bit vulnerable in one or two positions for the Premier League.
"But, at the same time, I know that we can't have too many bodies and some players won't be too happy playing a bit part or being rotated. I understand that side also."
McLeish is expected to let several players leave the club on loan with Colin Doyle being linked with Dundee United while Leicester City are reportedly keen to land Damien Johnson.
