Levein waiting for Ferguson decision

Scotland boss Craig Levein expects a decision to be made in the next two weeks on whether Barry Ferguson will return to the international fold. Levein wants the Birmingham midfielder back in the Scotland fold after he was banished under the George Burley regime for his part in the 'Boozegate' affair. The 32-year-old has yet to decide whether he will return or not but the Scotland boss says the situation is close to being resolved. Levein told the Scottish Mail on Sunday: "We still have plenty of time but I want to sit down with Barry. "The situation will be resolved in the next couple of weeks In fact, it might even be this week. "I'm hopeful he will come back but there are a number of factors involved."
