Birmingham City have sealed a second major signing in a week by capturing Juventus' France international winger Olivier Kapo in a £3million deal.
The 27-year-old left-sided Kapo has signed a three-year contract with the Blues, arriving just a day after Scotland striker Garry O'Connor joined from Lokomotiv Moscow.
Kapo joined Juve from French side Auxerre in the summer of 2004, but struggled to make his mark in Turin and was loaned out to Monaco for the 2005-06 season.
He spent last term with Primera Liga outfit Levante, scoring five goals in 30 league appearances for the Spanish club.
He had earlier hinted at his desire to try his luck in England, telling the Spanish press: "Juve know my preferences. I want a good sporting project.
"The Premier League is enormously attractive for any player. For me it would be excellent.
"My experience in Spain was positive, but Levante were only fighting to avoid relegation and I desire a club with higher aspirations."
