Birmingham City striker Cameron Jerome has urged midfielder Sebastian Larsson to follow him in signing a new long-term contract at St Andrew's.
Twenty-four-year-old Sweden international Larsson is still undecided over the offer of a new deal, but Jerome thinks that his team-mate should stay put.
He told the Birmingham Mail: "Everyone would like to see Seb commit his future to the club.
"He's still a young lad as well, he's learning his game and I think he's settled in Birmingham now.
"Everyone gets on with him around the training ground, the fans like him and he's a good lad.
"He's the sort of player you want in your squad, you don't want to lose his quality. He's got it in abundance. At the same time, the deal has got to be right for him.
"If he can agree terms, then I can't see why he wouldn't want to sign.
"Seb is the sort who just gets on with his football and he won't let it affect him. He works hard in training and in games, he really does run himself into the ground."
