Ilkeston striker on trial

Blues are giving a trial to Ilkeston youngster Tyrell Waite.

The highly-rated 17-year-old striker is to undergo a one week trial at St Andrews.

“Tyrell has created a lot of interest this season and rightly so because he’s a lad with great potential," Robins boss Kevin Wilson told his club's website, www.ilkestonfc.co.uk

"I think he has bits and pieces of everything.

“He certainly has plenty of pace and power, and can score a goal. And although he is still very much work in progress, I think he can go a long way in the game.

"Whatever comes from this week, it will be good experience for him to work with other coaches and players.”
