Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has moved quickly to bolster his injury-ravaged squad by snapping up the Bolton Wanderers defender Nicky Hunt on an emergency one-month loan deal.
The 25-year-old right-back has been brought to St Andrew's as Stuart Parnaby is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks while Stephen Kelly is also currently out of action.
McLeish said of his latest capture: "Nicky's a player who has massive Premier League experience. He was almost ever-present under Sam Allardyce but hasn't figured quite as much under Gary Megson.
"We need experienced players in defensive areas and Nicky comes into that category. His presence should bring a bit of confidence to the team and he has good athleticism going forward."
