Gold doubts Vieira deal

Birmingham City chairman David Gold hopes he can tempt veteran Frenchman Patrick Vieira to St Andrew's.
The 33-year-old former Arsenal midfielder looks set to leave Internazionale this summer and Gold hopes he will be interested in helping out the Premier League new-boys.
"We've pulled rabbits out of the hat before and we want to do it again, but you can't do these things unless you try," Gold told The Daily Mail.
"People would see Vieira as the second Dugarry if he came to Birmingham. Even now it's not impossible but the odds aren't good. We maybe only have a one in ten chance."
Earlier this summer Vieria intimated that he would prefer to return to Ligue 1 this summer if he left the San Siro.
