Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce is seeking talks with the club's prospective new owners to thrash out his own future at St Andrew's.
Bruce's current contract runs until the end of next season, but he is concerned that Carson Yeung will want to bring in a new manager when he assumes control of the Blues.
He told The Guardian: "I believe Mr Yeung and his people are due over to watch our game against Manchester City on October 20.
"I would like several issues resolved, more for the benefit of the club as a whole than anything else, so I'm going to try and set up a meeting.
"Generally football clubs do not progress if there is any instability. At a Premier League club, such an atmosphere is asking for trouble.
"That's why I need to thrash out the whole subject with them. Then we will all know where we stand."
