Bruce in Baggies blast

Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce has hit out at West Brom's decision to sack Bryan Robson just eight games into the Championship season.
The two clubs were relegated last term and have made solid starts to their bids to bounce straight back to the Premiership, with City top on 17 points and the Baggies in ninth on 12 points.
With that in mind, Bruce is puzzled by Albion's treatment of his former Manchester United team-mate.
"It's disappointing that West Brom see fit to make a change after eight games, when they are only five points behind us in the table," he said.
"It is very strange the game of football we have now. Twelve months ago, when Bryan kept Albion in the Premiership, he was the best manager in the world. He did an unbelievable job by turning it around and keeping them up.
"What's changed? I just believe that this happens too regularly in football nowadays and people lose sight of what's important.
"Bryan hasn't had the best of luck with injures. He has four or five of his big players missing and I feel desperately sorry for him."
Bruce added: "Bryan has been through the mill before. He is an extremely proud man and I'm sure he'll be totally disappointed by what has happened over the last 24 hours.
"But I'm sure football will not see the back of him. He'll bounce back again."
