Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce believes everybody at St Andrew's is pulling in the same direction and ready for life back in the Premiership.
Bruce, who has already completed his first piece of summer transfer business by signing loan star Fabrice Muamba from Arsenal on a permanent basis, has held meetings with the Blues board about next season and believes the future is bright.
"The meeting went well," he told the Birmingham Mail. "Various proposals were put to the board and accepted.
"We all agreed that we need a few new faces in to strengthen the squad and we are endeavouring to sign players.
"Already we have Fabrice Muamba, which is a great start. As for money available, it wouldn't be right of me to make that public.
"Like any manager at any club, you always want more money. I am going to get a few quid and, as a club, we will do our best to make sure that we are competitive next season.
"We are ready for the challenge ahead of us. We all share the same vision about what we have to do."
