Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce has revealed he wants to sign Crystal Palace's Julian Gray this summer.
The 24-year-old winger has been unsettled at Selhurst Park for the last year and appeared certain to leave the club last summer.
However, he returned to the club and helped them reach the Nationwide Division One play-off final.
"Julian Gray is a player that Steve Bruce is interested in," said a statement from the Blues.
"However, no discussions have yet taken place between the club and the player."
Bruce has already signed Emile Heskey from Liverpool and is closing in on deals to bring Leicester City captain Muzzy Izzett and Chelsea winger Jesper Gronkjaer to St Andrew's.
