Blues promise Black fight

Birmingham City chairman David Gold has warned Wigan Athletic that he will fight to keep Eric Black at the club following the departure of Steve Bruce.
Bruce opted to end his six-year stay as Blues boss earlier in the week to take the reins at Wigan.
However, despite reports linking Black with a move to re-join Bruce at his new club, Gold has promised to 'do everything possible' to keep his former number two and current caretaker manager at St Andrew's.
Black, who has previously managed Motherwell and Coventry City, will be in charge of the Blues for the weekend clash with Portsmouth.
He said: "I believe Eric Black is special. I really admire him. His multi-lingual skills are so important in communicating with our foreign players and he has a great relationship with the squad.
"I will be doing everything to keep him at Birmingham. I want him to stay and will be fighting to stop him going to Wigan.
"We want to keep the best people at Birmingham - and Eric is a person who falls into that category.
"He will be in charge on Saturday and we wish him well."
