Birmingham City have signed Sebastian Larsson on a permanent deal after agreeing a £1million fee with
Arsenal for the on-loan youngster.
The Sweden Under-21 international has made 34 appearances for the Blues since arriving at St Andrew's in August and was due to stay with the Championship promotion hopefuls until the end of the campaign.
But, after scoring three times in his last four games, City boss Steve Bruce has decided to make Larsson's loan stay into a permanent transfer.
"We are delighted to finally conclude the deal to bring Seb here on a permanent basis," Bruce told the club's official website.
"He has done very well since he has been here and he can play in a number of positions.
"He is young, hungry and ambitious and he epitomises the type of player we need to push this club forward."
