Blues agree O'Connor deal

Lokomotiv Moscow have confirmed they have agreed to sell Garry O'Connor to Birmingham City in a £2.7million deal.
The Scotland international has agreed terms on a two-year contract at St Andrew's and will sign for the Premier League new boys subject to passing a medical.
O'Connor moved to Lokomotiv in February 2006 from Hibernian but struggled to adapt to life in Russia.
The 24-year-old scored the winner in last month's Russian cup final but has continually been linked with a return to Britain with Fulham, Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion all believed to be interested in acquiring his services at various times.
However, after having a £3million approach for transfer-listed West Ham striker Marlon Harewood turned down earlier in the week, Birmingham boss Steve Bruce decided to turn his attention to the Edinburgh-born striker.
"Lokomotiv Moscow have come to an agreement with Birmingham City about the transfer of attacker Garry O'Connor to the English club," confirmed a club statement.
"The total fee for O'Connor is $5.3million.
"It is expected that after O'Connor passes his medical tests, he will sign a two-year contract with the Birmingham club."
