Birmingham close in on Gardner

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish is confident Aston Villa midfielder Craig Gardner will finally complete his move to St Andrew's on Tuesday.
The Blues have agreed a fee of around £3.5million for the England Under-21 player, who has also passed a medical.
On Tuesday morning Gardner was finalising personal terms but McLeish has said: "We are very hopeful it will be tied up today (Tuesday). We are confident he will be a Birmingham player by the end of today. He will be a quality signing."
