Birmingham 1 Portsmouth 0: Nathan Redmond strikes late
athan Redmond came off the bench to devastating effect as the Championship's late-show specialists once more came up trumps. The teenage winger fired home a magnificent volley four minutes from time as Chris Hughton's side jumped to within two points of second-placed Southampton. Redmond, 17, was introduced for Marlon King in the 62nd minute to give the hosts a much-needed spark against obdurate opponents, and his right-foot strike did the trick as Blues extended their unbeaten run to 12 games.
