Trollope handed role with Blues

irmingham have appointed Paul Trollope, who was manager of Bristol Rovers for five years, as their first-team coach.[LNB] The 39-year-old is manager Chris Hughton's first backroom appointment and the former Wales international will fly out to join Blues' training camp in Cork.[LNB]Trollope took the Pirates to a Football League Trophy final and promotion from League Two via the play-offs in 2007, but has been out of work since leaving the Memorial Ground at the end of last year.
