Teenager Asante in Blues squad
Birmingham have included 17-year-old striker Akwasi Asante in their squad for the Carling Cup fourth round clash with Brentford at St Andrew's.
Asante has been called up after scoring five goals against Tottenham in a youth-team game 10 days ago.
Midfielder Craig Gardner will return after completing a three-match ban for his sending off against Wigan.
