Taylor backs deputy Doyle to shine

Northern Ireland keeper Taylor will sit out at Vicarage Road due the one-match suspension handed to him following Monday's red card against Plymouth Argyle. Doyle replaced Taylor in the 25th minute and produced a more than able display for the remainder of the encounter. And Taylor believes the 23-year-old will do himself and the club proud when they take their promotion charge to Hertfordshire. He told the Birmingham Mail: "I'm going to miss a very important game but Doylie has proved himself more than capable before in this division and I'm sure he will do a great job and hopefully contribute to us getting three points. "Doylie has probably been working harder than me this season because when you've not been given the opportunity you can do that bit extra, which is what he has been doing. When there's a game around the corner and you know you're in, you can't over-do it as you have to prepare to play. "Doylie did well when he came on against Plymouth and he will be ready for Saturday, that's for sure."
