Strachan makes his first Boro signing - Birmingham striker Bent joins on loan

Marcus Bent has joined Middlesbrough on loan, becoming the first signing of  Gordon Strachan's reign at the Riverside.[LNB]Bent, 31, has struggled with hamstring injuries and has not featured for Birmingham so far this season.[LNB]He has signed up for an initial two-month period with the Championship high-flyers.[LNB] Middlesbrough bound: Marcus Bent in action for Birmingham against Preston last season[LNB]Boro boss Gordon Strachan said: 'I'm delighted to bring Marcus in.
