Although Blues' player of the season is more accustomed to playing at full-back, he has deputised at centre-half on a handful of occasions this season and will do so at Vicarage Road in Liam Ridgewell's absence.[LNB]McLeish hopes the 30-year-old Frenchman will be able to use his natural assets to form a formidable partnership with Jaidi after Ridgewell was ruled out for six to nine months with a broken leg.[LNB]"Franck gives us the balance on the left side and he would be in pole position if he's fit," McLeish told the club's official website.[LNB]"When he plays too many games in quick succession he can get a bit leggy but he seems to be in fairly fine form and has a good level of fitness at the moment."[LNB][LNB]
