Promotion race wide open - Jerome

Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome has said the race for promotion to the Premier League is wide open and it is vital for City to go on a winning run.Blues are currently third in the Championship, two points behind Reading in the second automatic promotion place and six adrift of leaders Wolves."The door's wide open for a number of teams," Jerome told BBC WM."The gap to fifth is six points and if you can get a run going you can be challenging for the title."Birmingham host Nottingham Forest on Saturday looking to keep the pressure on the top two.Jerome said he is aware that City cannot afford to let the leaders pull away from the chasing pack."It's between four or five teams. You play Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday and you if lose those games and someone else wins then there will be a lot of movement in the table."I think this is the time when our experience will come through and it can be vital for us, we've got one big push left," said Jerome.
