Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill has underlined his commitment to the south-coast club amid speculation he is wanted by Birmingham.[LNB] The Pompey boss insists he is happy at Fratton Park despite being heavily linked with a move to the midlands in the wake of Alex McLeish's shock resignation on Sunday.[LNB]Cotterill told The News: "I was surprised to hear the talk about me. I don't know if I'm potentially one of their candidates.[LNB]"It's flattering when something like that happens, but I'm happy doing the job I'm doing at Portsmouth.[LNB]"I've been through all the hard work here last season. I've been through all that pain, but I'm happy as manager of Portsmouth.[LNB]"It's been a tough job but I've been through all the tough times here now and want to push on."[LNB]Birmingham are understood to have lined up six possible candidates to replace McLeish, with former Newcastle manager Chris Hughton the current bookmakers' favourite ahead of ex-West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola and former West Brom head coach Roberto Di Matteo.[LNB]
