The 35-year-old, who remains Blues' leading goalscorer this season with 13, has been out for the past month after tearing his hamstring. Phillips' return, coupled with Garry O'Connor's recent comeback after almost five months on the sidelines, will provide Alex McLeish's side with a timely boost. Fellow striker Cameron Jerome has also put in some impressive displays of late and he was rewarded at the weekend with his first goal since the start of December. David Murphy is another player who is back in full training while defender Stuart Parnaby and midfielders Kemy Agustien and James McFadden are likely to return in time for the crucial showdown against Wolves on April 6.
