Rangers striker Kris Boyd will be on his way to Birmingham City in January following the takeover at St Andrew's by Hong Kong-based businessman Carson Yeung. [LNB]Blues boss Alex McLeish has been promised funds in the next transfer window to secure City's Premier League status and can now meet the £3million asking price from Rangers and pay the player the £20,000-a-week wages he wants. [LNB]McLeish, who was Boyd's manager with Rangers and Scotland, tried to sign him at the start of this year but did not have the finance.
