O'Connor makes Oakwell loan switch
irmingham striker Garry O'Connor has joined Championship side Barnsley on a one-month emergency loan deal.[LNB] The Scottish forward penned a new six-month deal in the summer in a bid to prove his fitness following an injury-hit season last term. He has figured twice so far this campaign for Alex McLeish's side.[LNB]Confirming the news on their website, Barnsley described the swoop as "sensational" and revealed an option to extend the loan beyond a month.[LNB]Birmingham also confirmed youngster Jordon Mutch's loan at Watford has been extended until January 2011.[LNB]
