O'Connor grabs Blues winner again
Garry O'Connor was Birmingham's match-winner for the second match in succession on their tour of the Far East as Blues beat Beijing Guoan 1-0.[LNB] The Scottish striker, whose goal saw off a Hong Kong XI on Sunday, scored the only goal eight minutes from time after Cameron Jerome saw his shot parried and then squared the rebound to his strike partner.[LNB]Summer signing Nikola Zigic hit the bar in the first half and goalline clearances denied O'Connor and Liam Ridgewell, though Ben Foster had to be alert to tip a free-kick onto the bar at the other end.[LNB]
