Obafemi Martins plans trademark celebration at Birmingham

Obafemi Martins has promised to replicate the somersaults that became his goal celebration trademark at Newcastle - if and when he starts scoring for Birmingham.[LNB]Martins, signed on loan from Rubin Kazan for the remainder of the campaign, admits it was too cold in Russia to celebrate in such an extravagant manner.[LNB]But the Nigeria international will bring the somersaults back during his spell with Blues.[LNB] Head over heels: Martins wants to replicate his trademark somersault celebration with Birmingham[LNB]Martins impressed on his debut against Stoke at the weekend in partnership with Nikola Zigic although he had few goalscoring chances.[LNB]He said: 'I'm still going to do the somersaults. In fact, I think I will do them more. If I score goals, I'll do it.[LNB]'Nani did a somersault on Saturday when he scored for Manchester United but mine is different to that.[LNB]'I had to be careful about doing that in Russia. The weather was too cold![LNB]'If I score in the Carling Cup final. I think I'll try and do 10 somersaults, maybe more than that!'[LNB] On the ball: The Nigerian frontman made his debut for Birmingham in weekend the win over Stoke[LNB]Martins, who will face his former club Newcastle on Tuesday evening at St Andrew's, is glad to be back in the Premier League and reunited with his family.[LNB]He said: 'I feel at home again. I have my house here, my girlfriend and my kid here, so I'm happy to be back.[LNB]'I missed them when I was in Russia but it was difficult for them to come over there.[LNB]'It is four hours away and my girlfriend didn't really like to fly and stay in Russia.[LNB]'I used to speak to them on the phone but I didn't see them for about five months so it was not good. I'm glad to be back.'[LNB]Martins was happy to finally make his debut against Stoke after a wait to obtain his visa.[LNB] Cup run: Martins hopes to start on Sunday against Arsenal in the Carling Cup final at Wembley[LNB]He said: 'I thought it would be a day or two. When I was at Inter Milan, I got it in a day but everything has changed now.[LNB]'The British Embassy, they change everything, they have changed the system.[LNB]'It was not a worry because they said they were going to give it me.
