irmingham City manager Chris Hughton admits there may be further sales before the season starts.[LNB] The Blues were relegated from the Premier League last season which has prompted a review of finances at the Midlands club. [LNB]Core players like Roger Johnson, Lee Bowyer and Barry Ferguson have all left the club so far this summer, while Scott Dann and Cameron Jerome continue to be linked with moves to Premier League clubs. [LNB]Hughton, however, is bullish his key assets will not be sold cheaply, as clubs try to take advantage of Birmingham's financial position. [LNB]"It's important that we have very good footballers at this football club and anybody that goes has a value, they are still Birmingham City players until they are not," Hughton told Sky Sports News. [LNB]"Certainly I would be delighted if they remained Birmingham City players," he added. [LNB]"But we know where we are, and we know what the finances at this club are, and it's one we have to work around. [LNB]"When I took this job, I was very aware of the consequences of having been relegated and like I said, we have to work around that one."
