Miccoli Staying With Palermo
Blues target Fabrizio Miccoli has confirmed that he will be staying with present club Palermo. Blues had shown an interest in partnering Miccoli in their attack with recent signing Nikola Zigic but he has announced that he has opted to stay with the Serie A side. "I've not spoken about my future before because I wanted to weigh up the best options for my family," he told the official Palermo website. "Looking into president Maurizio Zamparini's eyes convinced me to stay. "I worked hard to help us secure European qualification and now I want to play in it. "I want to thank Birmingham for their interest."
