But the 30-year-old will have to wait until the New Year to try and gain any competitive match sharpness as City do not have any more reserve games scheduled for the remainder of 2009.[LNB]Blues boss Alex McLeish said: "Martin Taylor is available again. He is knocking on the door.[LNB]"We don't have any reserve games in the imminent future and have nothing lined up but we will try and do something to help Martin.[LNB]"He is going to have to work really hard in training, intensity type of stuff, to get himself fit, although it is not the same as match fitness.[LNB]"We will get his sharpness and stamina back to the level we expect of Premier League players. He is back in full training."[LNB]Taylor unwillingly grabbed the headlines in February 2008 after a tackle on Eduardo which sidelined the Arsenal striker for the best part of a year.[LNB]Left-back David Murphy could also soon return to training with the first-team squad after being out all season with a broken kneecap.[LNB]McLeish said: "We are working hard to get David back training with us.[LNB]"I am not sure of the timescale but there has been progress. I know he was a bit demoralised two or three weeks ago when he had a bit of a setback.[LNB]"But he has been reassured by the doctor and also by the experts in London about his knee."[LNB][LNB]
