McFadden: Smells like team spirit
The Blues are currently seventh in the top-flight table after taking maximum points from their last five games.[LNB]Alex McLeish's side have defied the doom-mongers who predicted they would struggle this season after being promoted from the Championship, and, according to McFadden, it is all down to a new-found spirit within the squad.[LNB]"I've said all along I didn't think we played particularly well last season," McFadden told the club's official website. "It was about getting out of the league and we got there in the end.[LNB]"But this season we've added some good quality players and we're on a good run and I think we deserve it because we've worked hard and played some good football at times and it's nice to be a part of it.[LNB]"We've got a settled side now, a great team spirit and a never-say-die attitude."[LNB][LNB]
